Veritas Administration
David Kinsey, the owner and director of Veritas, graduated from Bryan College (BA
in Bible, 1973) and Reformed Theological Seminary (MA in School Administration,
1988). He has almost 30 years of experience as an educator, with 23 of those
years in school administration. As a teacher, he taught 6th – 10th grade level
math courses, Spanish and history. He also coached basketball for several years
early in his career. Mr. Kinsey has served as an administrator at three
different Christian schools in the Atlanta and St. Louis areas. He served for
15 years as the Headmaster at Fellowship Christian Academy in Roswell. During
his years at FCA, the school grew from a student body of 160 students to over
600 in the K – 12 program. He was also instrumental in the formation of the
school at Perimeter Church in Duluth and has always been a strong supporter of
the homeschool movement. He believes that his role as an educator is to partner
with parents in providing the best possible education for their children. He
and his wife, Bev, are the grandparents of Alli, Jeb, Knox and Judson, who belong to their oldest daughter, Angie, and her husband, Jake. Their
youngest daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of Cole and Case.
Mr. Kinsey serves as the administrator of Veritas Classical Schools.
Bev
Kinsey, owner and assistant director of Veritas, is a graduate
of Bryan College with a
degree in elementary education. She has over 20 years of
experience in traditional and homeschool education. During her years in the
traditional classroom, Mrs. Kinsey taught kindergarten and first
grade students. She was
also trained as an educational therapist and left the traditional
classroom to begin a program at FCA with the National Institute of
Learning Disabilities.
She served at
Fellowship
Christian
Academy in
Roswell for 14 years and was
promoted to the position of Elementary Principal. She spent her time reviewing
and improving curriculum, writing a detailed character curriculum
and created a K – 8 scope and sequence for each discipline. Under
her leadership the elementary program flourished, and she was able
to create a nurturing environment where the children felt loved and
challenged. She and her
husband, Dave, are the grandparents of Alli, Jeb, Knox and Judson, who belong to their oldest daughter, Angie, and her
husband, Jake. Their
youngest daughter, Stephanie, and her husband, Jeff, are the parents
of Cole and Case.
